How old were you when you really started to appreciate poetry?
Okay, I’ll admit it. Until I was 13 years old, I thought poetry was stupid, boring, and uninteresting. Now, I LOVE it! I loved english class because my teacher was a fan of poetry and assigned us to disect and decipher poems and I just really got into it. What about you?
Probably about nine years old. My Grandad used to recite large chunks of Tennyson’s The Lady of Shallot to me. Guess I’ve been hooked since then
Sad love poem!
