What Canadian Teen/Kid Newspapers can I submit my Work To?
I want to write maybe articles/poetry/short stories, and have them published in a teen newspaper.Very casual, just something to get me writing.
I am 14 years old.I live in Toronto.
Some suggestions:
Try taking English classes and you’ll get a lot of essays to write. Read creative writing books and take some classes if some are available. Create a blog and write all you want. Pick out a high school with a student newspaper and join the staff. Most any newspaper will publish your work if it’s good enough – read the editorials of the local newspaper, they usually have a feedback section where you can express your opinion.
