Hey I am doing a Coffeehouse Poetry audition tomorrow. What should I do?
Ok so what type of poem should I have? I have a lot of free verse poetry but I can write some cinquain or Quatrain. What do you think?
Give me some topice sugguestions also please.

I have a long list of a lot of topics, but just tell me what you think about what I should do about my audition

When I said that I have a long list of topics, I mean a long list of topics that I have written about, not that they have given me. I have no idea what “topic” to pick.
Take some of your best material to the audition. Calmly go over the material as you wait your turn. Take in the atmosphere of the gig and gauge your audience. Don’t start in on serious stuff when the mood has been light and jovial; and don’t cut up after someone talks about cancer.
‘Go with the flow’ really helps in doing coffee house gigs. Make the ending ponderous and poignant. Groove on the link below….
